Lindsay Jordan
Owner, Guitar Teacher, Group Class Instructor
Ms. Lindsay was born and raised in Central NJ where she learned everything she knows about music from her family. She started singing at the early age of 6, and learned to play the acoustic guitar around age 13. While working as a preschool teacher, Lindsay founded the Jordan School of Music (formerly known as Ms. Lindsay's Lil' Rockers) in 2017, combining her love for music and teaching children.
You can find her playing music live at many venues in NJ PA & NY by herself, with a group, or with her original band, Gypsy. While she provides an eclectic range of genres, Lindsay identifies most with Rock music being heavily influenced by female singers including Janis Joplin, Pink, Alanis Morrissette, Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall, and Melissa Etheridge. On December 1st, 2021 Lindsay celebrated the release of her first EP, Silver Strings on multiple online platforms.
Recent notable performances include opening for The Goo Goo Dolls' lead singer, Johnny Rzeznik at Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank NJ on December 14th 2021. Also, sharing the stage on background vocals with David Bryan (Bon Jovi) and Michael Ghegan (SuperTramp).
